W 2007 roku powstał Forexpros. Portal oferował wówczas jedynie analizy rynku forex, katalog brokerów oraz forum dyskusyjne w języku angielskim, hiszpańskim, hebrajskim i arabskim. [4] W latach 2008-2009 dodano kolejne edycje, a platforma rozszerzyła swoją ofertę o inne instrumenty finansowe.
Firma kupiła domenę, pod którą obecnie funkcjonuje - Investing.com, za 2,45 miliona dolarów pod koniec 2012 roku [5] w ramach jednej z najdroższych transakcji zakupu domen internetowych w historii. [6] [7] [8]
Aplikacja Investing.com na Androida została uruchomiona we wrześniu 2013 r. [9], a wersja aplikacji na iOS - w 2014. [9] [10] [11] Z biegiem czasu dodano dodatkowe edycje językowe [12] [13] i usługi. [14] [15] Investing.com uruchomił swoją aplikację o kryptowalutach w 2017 roku [16]
W lutym 2021 r. Investing.com został sklasyfikowany jako 194. najpopularniejsza witryna internetowa na świecie według portalu Alexa . [17] Firma ma cztery biura na całym świecie i zatrudnia 300 pracowników (stan na 2019 r.) Składa się z 33 wydań i dostępna jest w 24 językach [18], m.in: angielskim, niemieckim, hiszpańskim, francuskim, włoskim, holenderskim, portugalskim, rosyjskim, tureckim, arabskim, polskim, szwedzkim , fińskim, hebrajskim, japońskim, koreańskim, chińskim, indonezyjskim, tajskim, wietnamskim i hindi.
W kwietniu 2021 Globes poinformował, że spółkę nabył międzynarodowy fundusz inwestycyjny z siedzibą w Azji Wschodniej za 500 mln dolarów. [19]
