Brief Introduction

Hello, my name is Rekka Alexiel and I currently run the fan sites at drakengard-3.com, nier2.com, and Facebook.

Overview

I've been living in Japan since 2005. Most of that time I spent teaching English in the Nagoya area. I moved to the Yokohama area in 2011.

My first introduction to the DOD world was actually with DOD2. The commercial with Nakashima Mika's song "Hitori" really got me interested enough to want to try out the game even though I wasn't much of an Action RPG player at the time. It's been a long time since I've played it, so I don't remember much of the storyline these days, but I do remember enjoying it a lot. The music, the artwork, the darker storyline was quite a refreshing step away from the other "lighter" games of the time.

Especially after the release of Nier, I've become a huge fan of Yoko Taro, Shiba Takamasa, Fujisaka Kimihiko, and Okabe Keiichi among others, so when I heard they were all coming together for the first instalment in the DOD world in 8 years...!? I was ecstatic!
