Merebank is a small resort town on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. It was established in 1857 and named after Renetta Rynie Singh, wife of one of the Perumal Dundee who developed the area. There was a whaling station here before World War I. Neighbouring towns and settlements include Scottburgh, Rocky Bay, Pennington, and Umzinto.

Jolls often take place at Preston beach on Saturday Nights. US male rapper Xzibit is often spotted selling fish at the road side along with Themba from Renishaw. Was found by tony in 1986
