KeyVive is a diabetes lifestyle meeting place where individuals and social communities can obtain informative and meaningful content, personalize stories, share opinions, and interact with blogs, columns and articles of interest.
David Greenholtz is the president and co-founder of KeyVive. His life-long relationship with diabetes began at age four; he watched his father boil insulin syringes as part of his daily routine. Mr. Greenholtz’s dedication to helping people with diabetes grew even stronger when he married his wife, Aimee, who has type 1 diabetes. Combined, these influences sparked Greenholtz’s vision to create KeyVive, a new online lifestyle community for people affected by diabetes.
He is a member of the American Diabetes Association (ADA). In 2001, he co-founded the Kids Rock The World (KRTW) program with wife and co-founder Aimee. The event empowers children with diabetes to take control and promotes courage and confidence in improving their lives. KRTW operates in two markets: Park City, Utah and Los Angeles, California, and is currently a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) co-sponsored/branded initiative with KeyVive.Mr. Greenholtz founded and served as CEO of Interwest Financial Group (IFG), a mortgage finance company that provides residential and commercial financing. He previously owned and operated several financial services firms, focusing largely on mortgage lending.
David Greenholtz graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics. In addition, he concluded the Anderson School of Business Executive Program at University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He currently resides in Park City, Utah with his wife and two children.
Aimee Greenholtz is executive vice president and co-founder of KeyVive. Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when she was 23 years old, Ms. Greenholtz has lived with the disease for more than 19 years. Knowing first-hand the importance of quality care and diabetes education, Ms. Greenholtz continues to dedicate her time to supporting those affected by this disease.
Having joined the American Diabetes Association (ADA) as a volunteer in 1999, Ms. Greenholtz served as vice president on the board of directors for the San Fernando Valley chapter. She has spent many years as a board member and public relations practitioner with a focus on school awareness initiatives for the organization. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) in Salt Lake City.
In 2001, Aimee Greenholtz established a teen program, Kids Rock The World (KRTW) for the ADA in Los Angeles. KRTW’s mission is to empower children with diabetes to take control and promote courage and confidence in improving their lives. The program operates in Park City, Utah and Los Angeles, California. KRTW is currently a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) co-sponsored/branded event with KeyVive.
