From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Don't just stand there and tell others what to do. If you see a problem that needs fixing, don't just point it out to others and expect them to get it done.

What is acceptable?

  • a division of labor between experienced editors who prefer to give guidance and editors who do the actual editing.
  • for someone who is busy to point something out and move along.
  • to point out a problem to someone more experienced with a certain article.

What is not acceptable?

  • for several people to point out the same flaw in an article and do nothing about it. — This can be particularly evident in AfD, FAR, and FARC discussions.
