The Bio-star
Hey Sharktopus, I'm giving you this bio-star to say thanks for creating such bizarre biological articles - you've covered smut, penis fencing, castration, eye-infecting flies and now zombies! I for one am glad you have and am curious as to what will come next! P.S. ever heard of Paracerceis sculpta (my first DYK) It's pretty odd! SmartSE (talk) 18:46, 25 June 2011 (UTC)

Wow, my first-ever barnstar -- thanks so much! And you are right, your first DYK was pretty darn impressively odd. Sharktopus talk 19:11, 25 June 2011 (UTC)

Thankyou[edit]

The Barnstar of High Culture
Thankyou for your work on here. You're doing a great job. Thanks in particular for starting an article on Yak butter, can't believe I didn't think of that one!♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:16, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

Wow, thanks, Dr. Blofeld! I have admired your work from afar, and I am glad you enjoyed yak butter, a redlink I came across and could not resist creating. But allow me to mention here something I did not include in yak butter, salving my conscience by saying it would be off-topic, which is that butter tea is often "improved" by adding small amounts of yak dung. Resisting that redlink, resisting, resisting, resisting ... Sharktopus talk 13:35, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

Lutheran Hymnody[edit]

The Barnstar of Indulgence
Thank you so much for your article on Paul Speratus. You're right, he does not deserve to be a red link! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia's coverage of Lutheranism! Cognate247 (talk) 14:54, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
  • Thank you for this very surprising and innovative barnstar. I hope somebody with more knowledge of Lutheran hymnody than I have will embrace this article and make it sing. Sharktopus talk 15:01, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

You deserve this[edit]
