History[edit]

Warm Springs was first founded in 1864[1] as a small grammar school. Students were ungraded, and the school did not have sufficient grounds. Later on in 1889, a second school was built across from it. It costed $6000 and was a replacement for the earlier building, which was burned.

Warm Springs Elementary School is an elementary school in Fremont, California going through grades 3-6. It is one of 28 elementary schools in the city belonging to the Fremont Unified School District. Warm Springs is part of the Irvington Attendance area, and goes to Irvington High School and Horner Junior High School[2].

Achievements and statistics[edit]

90% of students from this school haved passed the California Physical fitness test. The percent of teachers teaching with only one to two years of experience is 13%. The school's api(academic performance index) is 927.[3]
