About Me[edit]

I am a student at the University of Chicago Divinity School, formerly graduated from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. I have a wide array of interests, but for Wikipedia purposes I focus on editing articles of significance within the Baptist tradition and heritage, the legendarium of J.R.R. Tolkien, and occasional edits in relation to topics of theological concern. I try not to edit articles unless I have a great interest in the subject or I have undertaken some advanced academic study in the field either through normal coursework and research fellowships, such as when I edit the liberation theology article. Unlike some Wikipedians of note, I do not claim to have a Ph.D. in Theology.

Contributions[edit]

I have made minor contributions to the following articles:

Baptists in the history of separation of church and state
Separation of Church and State
Cooperative Baptist Fellowship
Alliance of Baptists
Baptist General Conference
Fell beast (Middle-earth)

I have made contributions I consider of middling importance to the following:

Liberation theology
Tom Bombadil

I have made significant contributions to the following:

Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty

I have, as of yet, authored no articles of my own save minor page redirects. I am also a user still learning the basics of Wikipedia editing, and welcome any comments on my style or approach -- particularly on the format of the Baptist Joint Committee article.
