[S]Melissa Li is a graduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Biomedical Engineering and former staff member of the intercollegiate Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) program and its affiliated Registry of Standard Biological Parts--a foundation which works on standardizing genetic engineering with heavy ties in the Synthetic biology community.
