I'm a long time user of Wikipedia and was drawn to attempt editing after an article had been created for Abandonia: Reloaded (a freeware website). My main area of knowledge is freeware (it's a hobby), though I love reading, enjoy writing and am somewhat of an artist-in-potentia - none of which really lend to being a great contributor, as most of the notable topics are covered, but I can edit. I've been reading through WP policies trying to figure out how not to step on people's toes, and feel a bit lost still. I wouldn't consider myself very bold when it comes to editing other people's contributions, but I'm working on it.
