Newport Workshops 1900 Stored The first of the VR-built NA class locomotives, built at the Victorian Railways Newport Workshops, utilising spare parts supplied with Baldwin-built 1A. Stored disassembled for future restoration. Recent proposals call for the locomotive to be reassembled and placed on static display at the Menzies Creek Museum in its original condition as delivered from Baldwin.

Newport Workshops 1901 Operational Has been restored as near as practicable to "as new" condition (1901–1906) of two-tone green with white lining, low-height bunker, extended side tanks, etc.
