Home media[edit]

The film will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital Download on December 6, 2011. The release will be produced in three different physical packages: : a 3-disc combo pack (Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital Copy); a 2-disc combo pack (Blu-ray and DVD); and a 1-disc DVD. The film will also be released as a Digital Download option in both standard and high definition. The DVD version will include two deleted scenes and "The Living Proof" music video by Mary J. Blige. The Digital Download version will include the same features as the DVD version, plus one additional deleted scene. Both the 2-disc and 3-disc combo packs will include the same features as the DVD version, as well as "The Making of 'The Help:' From Friendship To Film," "In Their Own Words: A Tribute To The Maids Of Mississippi," and three deleted scenes with introductions by Director Tate Taylor.[1][2][3]
