www.ValentinosMountain.com is a website designed as an open database for memory profiles, family history and local history articles. The main focus of the website is documenting the lived lives of everyday people – as told by everyday people – building a memory database for the future.
Through increased accessibility of data through the internet and television series like for example ‘Who do you think you are’, the interest for genealogy and family history has increased significantly in recent years. www.ValentinosMountain.com was created in appreciation of the need to create a place to store relevant family history data in a more detailed way – as opposed to more traditional genealogy sites where the main focus is to link individuals and their basic data to a family line.
