Ave, I am a 18 yr old Australian-Wikipedian who sees his role in wikipedia as being to combat its systemic left-wing bias. This wikipedian learnt very quickly that it is futile to try to change any good or featured articles, for they are too heavily patrolled by hyperdeletionists who jump on any contribution virtually regardless of merit. This wikipedian now patrols the dark recesses of wikpedia, and tries to help the leper articles with their leper-banners calling for them to be wikified, cleaned up, rewritten, or otherwise made acceptable.
