The Pushover was a Tennessee Walking Horse who won the World Grand Championship in the 1990 Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration.

Life and career[edit]

The Pushover was foaled on May 5, 1979. His sire was the World Grand Champion The Pusher and his dam was Pride's Super Dawn. He was bred by Everal Sherburne of Cedarburg, Wisconsin. He was initially trained by Bryant Fly and later placed in Steve Aymett's stable for a time. In July 1990 he was placed in training with Ronnie Spears and Billy Boyd. Ridden by Spears, he entered the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration and placed second in the preliminary stallion class. He won the World Grand Championship. [1]
