UBC Okanagan EME building[edit]

The EME (Engineering, Management, and Education) building located on UBC Okanagan campus in Kelowna, British Columbia (branch campus of UBC Vancouver). is a brand new structure built in 2012 for extra classrooms, study areas, a cafeteria, and more.

Purpose[edit]

The purpose of this building is for new labs, classrooms, more learning and living space. Students registered in Management coming to UBC Okanagan campus will get the chance to experience brand new, state-of-the-art very high quality education of any post secondary campus. The building incorporates high tech teaching with large screens to display material from anywhere around the world to the new energy-saving technology. It uses geothermal process to stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Founded[edit]

The UBC Okanagan Faculty of Management completed this building in 2012, a $68-Million gold seal standard. This structure was founded in 2012 and is the largest building on campus sitting at 16769 Square Meters. The building has a green roof and is projected to achieve five out of five points for LEED innovation and design for clear water utilization, education, green housekeeping and power.
