The 2021 Liga 2 season will be the 12th season of second-tier football in Indonesia. It will begin on 26 June and scheduled to end with a final on 27 November 2021.
Changes from last season[edit]
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all matches will be held and played behind closed doors.
Name changes[edit]
- PSG Gresik changed name to PSG Pati and relocated to Pati.[1]
- Martapura changed name to Dewa United and relocated to South Tangerang.[2]
Stadium changes[edit]
- Due to PSG Pati relocation from Gresik, they would use the TBD in Pati, a change from the previous season where they used the Gelora Joko Samudro as their home ground.
- Due to Dewa United relocation from Martapura, they would use the Indomilk Arena in Tangerang, a change from the previous season where they used the Demang Lehman as their home ground.
