TeX {cases} with right bracket[edit]

You asked for 'Something like \begin{cases} but for bracket on right-hand side?' at Help talk:Displaying a formula/Archive 2.

I have no idea if (and how) it can be achieved in Wikiperia math renderer, but Google reveals there is a TeX mathtools package which allows it. Hope that helps:

My question was actually rhetorical. I was actually requesting for new implementation. About TeX syntax as you suggested, thanks, but I'm not sure that would be interesting to users in a general manner. See, we have "Wiki" syntax to make math expressions. Then in some situations, we have to use TeX syntax! It would be nice if we have a unified syntax. 石庭豐 (talk) 10:11, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
