Note on your choice of article[edit]

Greetings @11boba:, I see that you chose Golf Wang as your article to improve. I think this can work well, but I'm not 100% sure and I want to offer some early advice. My main concern is related to the banner at the top of the article warning that the article is written like an advertisement. It's important to be aware that companies and brands often try to use Wikipedia articles in the course of their marketing and promotion and Wikipedians consider this very distasteful. I think it's important that you be careful not to make this issue with the article any worse than it is and that you try to make it better if you can. This might mean removing or rewriting parts of the article that are overly promotional. It can also mean adding non-promotional information that's drawn from reliable sources. In my limited experience with articles about fashion on Wikipedia, this can be a challenge. I urge you to get a head start and find at least one high quality reliable source that you can draw information that you can add to the article. If you have any questions or want me to help you decide if a source is reliable, don't hesitate to reach out to me either here on Wikipedia or in our discord channel.
