@Ratnahastin i didn't understood you bro i know twitter is not reliable but here's a clause we use nasa and spacex tweets in ref. If someone wants to cite a recent spacex livestream they have to do by citing twitter only. Why because they are official reliable sources. Same way in india Times of india is a reliable newspaper. I cited the tweet of a reporter who manages space news section of this newspaper and has never posted rumours in Twitter and written a controversial or fake news on times of India. So he proves ultimately reliable. He never gives rumors. You must revert your revert. Tomorrow headlines and times of India will write the same article either himself or his fellow workmates. Here's his bio: https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/toireporter/author-Chethan-Kumar-479220652.cms (he is the Michael Sheetz, Eric berger, Jeff Foust of india) 122.187.144.98 (talk) 15:02, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]

Hello, 122.187.144.98. Thank you for your work on Beliaghata metro station. User:Alalch E., while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. A page you created or have recently made significant changes to, Beliaghata metro station , may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for pages, so it has been blanked and redirected to List of Kolkata Metro stations. Three typical reasons for this are that: (1) the article's subject appears to fail our notability guidelines; (2) the article is unsourced; or (3) the sources used in the article are unreliable. The page's history is preserved and it is possible to restore the article: If you believe that this page should remain included on Wikipedia or that this action was taken in error, then you may revert the edit that blanked and redirected the page.

Wikipedia:Your first article has more information about creating articles, and you may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you.

This article about a yet unbuilt metro station is not quite there yet in terms of sourcing proving notability under WP:GNG, as the sources don't discuss the station as the station (as a structure), but talk more generally about the line and its extension, so it's hard to see them as in-depth coverage; stations aren't inherently notable under WP:NTRAINSTATION; restore with more and better sources.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Alalch E.}}. Please remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Alalch E. 08:59, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Then please revert back Barun Sengupta metro station, Ritwik Ghatak metro station, VIP Bazar metro station, Gour Kishore Ghosh metro station, Nicco Park metro station, Nabadiganta metro station in whole phase 2,3 metro stations in this line they exist but not Beleghata Metro station. Most of them are poorly sourced or non sourced. For phase 1 I will translate bengali wiki and write 122.187.144.98 (talk) 10:49, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Alalch E. If all above 1 line pages are not reverted bring back my page 122.187.144.98 (talk) 10:50, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I will do so during the day, and, in the future, you are very welcome to restore these articles from redirects with content expansions which will reference new sources that will undeniably appear. Sincerely —Alalch E. 11:13, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Done. I have left a comment on the Kolkata Metro Line 6 talk page, which you may find interesting: Talk:Kolkata Metro Line 6#Existing station redirects and their inconsistent (and some probably incorrect) pipesAlalch E. 12:17, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Unfortunately, you copied copyrighted content. Please, instead of copying, try to summarize yourself it using your own words. I will post a generic but informative template notice about copyright violations:
Copyright problem icon Your edit to Draft:Jyotirindra Nandi metro station has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. —Alalch E. 16:11, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't looked at the other two drafts yet in detail, but they seem to have the same problem. —Alalch E. 16:12, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Just for my information, How can we say its copyright violation when the thing belongs to indian government. https://mtp.indianrailways.gov.in/ 122.187.144.98 (talk) 18:35, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As is stated at the bottom of the page, "© 2016 All Rights Reserved." Material on that site is not free to reuse. —C.Fred (talk) 18:38, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It follows {{GODL-India}} as per what I know {{GODL-India}}122.187.144.98 (talk) 18:39, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If there's a copyright concern, it would be for the text used in the article, not the underlying data. That would create the grey area of whether the text is "documentation" for purposes of GODL. —C.Fred (talk) 19:11, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
They just mention it and We follow it as a law for every image, text, etc worldwide 122.187.144.98 (talk) 19:16, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Any issues of copyright is managed by Ministry of Railways (India) not Metro Railways, Kolkata. Our Indian copyright law are a bit confusing @Alalch E.@C.Fred 122.187.144.98 (talk) 19:18, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am not entirely convinced that the provions of GODL make it safe for Wikipedia to copy text in this way. If it was, {{Template:GODL-India-text}} would need to be used on the page; it's only used in one article currently. I suspect that editors are hesitant to rely on this license. Commons volunteers have doubts: c:Special:Permalink/800693269#Is an screenshot under GODL-India?. Please, give me a few days to research this a bit more, but in the meantime you are very welcome to work on these drafts in a way that does not consist of verbatim copying. Just take the most important statements from the sources and express them using your own words, in an encyclopedic manner. I think that the stations are probably notable and the goal here is to have these articles, not the opposite. —Alalch E. 21:55, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Aah if i chose to make articles without the links its a bit cumbersome way as no other cites mention such intricate details in their own way 122.187.144.98 (talk) 02:19, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have to take inspiration and build a page like Taratala metro station, it is descriptive without the main cite refs @Alalch E. 122.187.144.98 (talk) 02:23, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The biggest thing is my words must be proved and not become the prohibited element that is original research @Alalch E. 122.187.144.98 (talk) 02:24, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
On deep search you must get thid https://bangla.aajtak.in/kolkata/story/kavi-sukanta-metro-station-of-orange-line-a-homage-to-young-poet-sukanta-bhattacharya-rjk-525795-2023-03-12 kind of cites where original metro railway article is copied 122.187.144.98 (talk) 02:51, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Expressiblility in own words is hard for me but will try after getting a non copyright source 122.187.144.98 (talk) 02:53, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Volten001. I noticed that you recently removed content from International Space Station without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. You need to support your edits by citing reliable sources Volten001 15:17, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I left edit summary and cited ref there @Volten001 122.187.144.98 (talk) 15:24, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that's not how you are supposed to do it. I also noticed that it's not the first time your edits have been reverted especially on International Space Station. Additionally, most of your edits include removing content without sufficient reason or reliable sources to support it. Kindly refrain from doing that for now and try other ways of improving articles. Thank you Volten001 15:33, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have just noticed that you've reverted my edits which means if I revert yours again it will eventually result to edit warring and I know better what that means (Please read this to understand better - WP:EDITWAR). Kindly read what and try to understand what I wrote up there. Thanks and happy editing Volten001 15:39, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
you have to know the structure of International Space Station first 122.187.144.98 (talk) 16:13, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
iss missions until launched are kept as waiting list in scheduled missions. Then after launch we move them to currently docked/berthed. After mission undock, we simply delete or remove them out of iss page. Missions come and go as time flies away. This has been happing since years. I have started providing refs for removal but still edit warring occurs. All this confusion started once pending changes protection was added. Most admins lacks this knowledge of the page and disapprove my edit. I have said this repeatedly to them but problem persists @Volten001 122.187.144.98 (talk) 16:18, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Volten001 I have long discussions on iss talk page for this. Iss is a candidate of Recentism and things change continuously 122.187.144.98 (talk) 16:20, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We must add Template:Current spaceflight at top. Should i revert back. I have learnt zbouf the struture after deep analysis of page history, i am not a vagabond vandalism of iss page, but treater me as iss page updater. @Volten001 122.187.144.98 (talk) 16:23, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I thank you that instead of either approving or reverting you came to discuss. I have created pages on wiki, so have some faith in me. 122.187.144.98 (talk) 16:26, 3 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@StartOkayStop issue resolved. Not that wiki tool shows more copyviombut actually those sites have copied and pasted free nasa one http://www.nasa.gov/press-release/nasa-astronaut-tracy-c-dyson-receives-third-space-station-assignment from which I made my article @Ozzie10aaaa 122.187.144.98 (talk) 18:49, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am aware of this and have added a banner to the bottom of the page to help clear up any confusion. Since NASA is a public domain source you are allowed to copy text from it. I already plan on accepting the draft, I am just waiting for an administrator to delete the page at Soyuz MS-25. Let me know if you have any questions. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 06:08, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Red-tailed hawk this someone copied it during Cygnus NG-19 and it was copied by me during making my Cygnus NG-20 and then i made this draft using this Cygnus NG-20 page so indirectly done. 122.187.144.98 (talk) 06:55, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Spacecraft Launches[edit]

@S0091 or @Naraht please approve Draft:List of spaceflight launches in January–June 2024, Draft:2024 in spaceflight (July–December) Draft:2024 in spaceflight (January–June) Draft:List of spaceflight launches in July–December 2024 all are interconnected after discussion at Talk:2024 in spaceflight#Splitting the page. And please I left a invisible comment on 2024 in spaceflight before orbital launches section. Please un-invisible that and remove the whole orbital launches and suborbital launches that I have copied in above drafts. Hope if possible for you. 2024 will just start. 122.187.144.98 (talk) 04:09, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please make a dummy edit for both of the two drafts (add a line somewhere) including the information in the edit summary with the URL (or at least the oldid) of the version of 2024 in spaceflight that you copied the information from. The easiest way to see that is to bring up the version from the history and look at the URL. This is to maintain the history. Let me know if you need help on this. (for example, if it was copied from the most recent version of 2024 in spaceflight, then you'd add oldid=1191696114 to a small edit to both of the new drafts.Naraht (talk) 04:18, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oh i know by drafts rejection theirs a template called AFC comment {{AFC comment|1=............}}that admins posts their reviews can i use it and add at top of redirects, split pages (this was only done). Can normal draft creators can use it and post the page attribution and all other things needed??? @Naraht 122.187.144.98 (talk) 04:30, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not going to put this through AFCH, it isn't needed. (I'm simply going to do a move)/ And all of those reviews and comments get stripped off the article when it moves to mainspace. Easiest is just to add the dummy edit. You can then edit it again and remove that. It just needs to include what version it was copied from (best guess)Naraht (talk) 04:56, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok thanks i am doing that got a basic notice template. 122.187.144.98 (talk) 07:26, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Done @Naraht thanks for the cooperation in advance 122.187.144.98 (talk) 07:57, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ok but approve the other two so that i can request or by just asking any fellow editor to make the redirects casually.@DoubleGrazing 122.187.144.98 (talk) 08:53, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@DoubleGrazing please approve them the redirect wizard is automatically declining as main article is still drafted. 122.187.144.98 (talk) 12:27, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What are you talking about, approve what? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 12:39, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Draft:List of spaceflight launches in July–December 2024 and Draft:List of spaceflight launches in January–June 2024, the above two redirects are of these pages. I cannot claim for redirects of these pages until they are approved. @DoubleGrazing 122.187.144.98 (talk) 14:28, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Those drafts will be reviewed once someone picks them up. Be patient, the waiting time these days is only a couple of weeks, as we spent all last month clearing up the backlog.
And no, there's obviously no point in creating redirects for articles that don't exist. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:50, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Matter closed. Thanks for your cooperation 122.187.144.98 (talk) 18:20, 25 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Naraht please approve Draft:Falcon 9 B1058 when you are free. It is a veteran booster some ample resources and citations provided RIP B1058 (talk) 08:03, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
RIP B1058 At this point, your account has 275 edits. You should be able to remove the AFC templates and then move it yourself to mainspace. Let me know if you have any issues. You can still start articles in Draftspace if you are more comfortable, but you are an established user. (The training wheels for the bike can be removed :) )Naraht (talk) 14:48, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Means how to move to mainspace? Blank draft and paste on page directly?? Or like an admin approves? This page was made as IP editor so was in draft. @Naraht RIP B1058 (talk) 15:27, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
RIP B1058No, you *don't* blank and paste, that loses the history. I'm backing up on some of my earlier comments. Since it was created by AFC, it should be finished by a reviewer, and so I'll do it.
Being a reviewer takes 500 edits (and a few other things). See (Wikipedia:WikiProject Articles for creation) to use the AFC helper tool which explains it.
Also, I tried to approve it using the AFC Helper tool, but there was already a redirect with that name with some edits on it (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Falcon_9_B1058&action=history) . N2e did some categorization and information on the Redirect. So I marked it with a {{db-g6}} which will indicated that an administrator should delete the redirect (someone *could* object to that, but *highly* unlikely on a subject such as this).
I've put the redirect on my watchlist, so that I'll see when an admit deletes it (or someone objects) and presuming the deletion, I'll review it with the move.Naraht (talk) 15:44, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nice i will remember this in future RIP B1058 (talk) 18:13, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Extra rows to sticky tables[edit]

I thank you for all the work you've done adding the sticky tables to so many pages. However I think you need to correct a great many of them. There's two issues.

The first is that many of the tables you've made sticky don't actually need it. The purpose of sticky table headers is for _long_ tables, not _all_ tables. Notably, at least on Firefox, it deletes the lines between the table headers making it harder to read. Could you please remove sticky tables from any tables that are not long?

The second issue is the following. The way you've been adding them to tables is incorrect. You've been adding new rows to every single table you add it to.

For example the first row of the table may look like along with some or none extra entries in this line:

|-

However rather than changing that line to:

|- class="is-sticky"

you've been instead changing it to

|-

|- class="is-sticky"

on two separate lines, creating an extra row. This throws off some macros like row counters and things that act on the first row of the table and similar things. Can you please go and fix all the pages you've changed to not include an extra row? Ergzay (talk) 07:25, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ok @Ergzay a day is needed, but i will. for me it took 2 days to add them, so a cumbersome process. My idea might be wrong i add to many tables thinking if the table goes out of my screen it is long else small. I never knew the 2nd point so the problem. 122.187.144.98 (talk) 13:34, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Ergzay does this apply to
|-
Where it has already something like style background on it RIP B1058 (talk) 06:12, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@RIP B1058 If it already has something then you just add to it, for example if it already has a class, just add it to the list of classes, if it has no classes then add the class field. If you have a specific example you want to ask about then link it here. Ergzay (talk) 06:20, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Ergzay Say as in List of Tiangong space station spacewalks
It is
|- bgcolor="#ccccff"
|- class="is-sticky" RIP B1058 (talk) 06:27, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hushah!!, sat today completed today, what you asked here. RIP B1058 (talk) 09:55, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@RIP B1058 I took a look at that page and the change looks correct. Ergzay (talk) 11:54, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Nice. RIP B1058 (talk) 11:55, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@RIP B1058 @122.187.144.98 On the Starlink page that you just changed you should look at Help:Table/Advanced#Tables_with_sticky_headers instead. The "sticky header" template works significantly better, but it only works for sortable tables, but that's what's used on the Starlink page. You should use the stick header template instead wherever you can as it works in many more situations and is less buggy. Ergzay (talk) 15:24, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks I will mind it for the future. (My main aim was that if you are in middle of a table while viewing by a cell/mobile phone, you can relate the cells with header) RIP B1058 (talk) 16:02, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
(Tagging @122.187.144.98 is of no use now, btw) RIP B1058 (talk) 16:03, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@RIP B1058 You appear to have broken some pages like List of Satish Dhawan Space Centre launches. You put the class entry before the first line of the table instead of before header of the table. If you check and scroll you'll see that it's incorrect. I'm not sure where else you may have made this same mistake. Ergzay (talk) 07:05, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Corrected RIP B1058 (talk) 10:46, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Finding other locations tomorrow RIP B1058 (talk) 10:46, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@RIP B1058 Additionally in other tables like Comparison of solid-fuelled orbital launch systems the second table on this page doesn't work correctly as some of the header entries disappear. Ergzay (talk) 07:07, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you can't get it to work correctly on a table, you should remove it from the table. Ergzay (talk) 07:07, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please go fix this on any table that has this incorrect, additionally, some of these tables are sortable, so you should be using the {{sticky header}} template instead. Ergzay (talk) 07:09, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok planned after new year onba free day like 28 dec. Needs time to be invested RIP B1058 (talk) 11:05, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:Cygnus NG-21 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://handwiki.org/wiki/Engineering:Cygnus_NG-18. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

(I, RIP B1058 the editor who edited formely via this ip address)
This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because I have discussed this during my IP editor era at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:122.187.144.98#Copying_within_Wikipedia . I hace linked this ip address in my user home page. The claim of being from https://handwiki.org/wiki/Engineering:Cygnus_NG-18 is false as this article originated from who made Cygnus NG-18 during https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Cygnus_NG-18&oldid=1016883973 in english Wikipedia and then someone copied it during Cygnus NG-19 and it was copied by me during making my Cygnus NG-20 and its draft and then i made this draft using this Cygnus NG-20 page so indirectly done. I had cedited the copying within wikipedia in this edithttps://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Cygnus_NG-20&oldid=1175152154 on Cygnus NG-20. Evdn if the article really originated from handwiki (no chance afaik as its a sister website of English Wikipedia, Wikipediais main website) as @Beatgr RIP B1058 (talk) 13:43, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
See the handwiki version says {{Sourceattribution|Cygnus NG-18}} at the end of that page that tells us that the original source is Cygnus_NG-18 that has public domain label so it means that this is a tottally false, erroneous speedy deletion claim and the article from a templatessource code that is written and accepted during Cygnus NG-18, Cygnus NG-19, Cygnus NG-20 must not be resisted for thus draft.
