December 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm SkyWarrior. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to James M. Poterba— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. SkyWarrior 21:00, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Thank you for making a report on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported may not have engaged in vandalism, or the user was not sufficiently or appropriately warned. Please note there is a difference between vandalism and unhelpful or misguided edits made in good faith. If the user continues to vandalise after a recent final warning, please re-report it. Thank you. Alexf(talk) 11:43, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. Such edits are considered vandalism and quickly undone. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox instead. Thank you. --MehrdadFR (talk) 04:08, 26 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

December 2018[edit]

Hello, I'm IronGargoyle. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Tim Anderson (political economist), but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. IronGargoyle (talk) 14:06, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

February 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Hughes Hall, Cambridge, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Registration with username[edit]

Hi. A friendly suggestion - it would nice of you to get registered, if you are going to contest the neutrality of pages. A username instead of IP address many give more weight to your point, especially when you are calling pieces from established political analysts "not a reliable source". Regards, Armatura (talk) 00:26, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your suggestion. However, it looks more of an ad-hominem attack based on my lack of a registered account. I would rather you comment on my comments rather my identity behind the IP.
There are several discussions on IPs. 131.111.5.153 (talk) 00:36, 31 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

June 2022[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Cambridge University Conservative Association. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you.
