Wikipedia's conflict of interest guidelines[edit]

Information icon Hello, 134.223.230.152. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 02:07, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

November 2018[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Caroline (name), you may be blocked from editing. JesseRafe (talk) 18:51, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you blank out or remove content from Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Sufi whirling. Jim1138 talk 08:30, 12 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

January 2019[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Sugar Bowl. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dmoore5556 (talkcontribs) 04:30, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

May 2019[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Siege of Jerusalem (70 CE) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. July 2019[edit]

Your edits at the article, List of The Boys Characters have all been reverted. You might find this frustrating, probably as frustrating it is for the rest of us who edit that article who have already determined that multiple points of reliable sources are going to be needed for each hero you want to match up with a comic book counterpart. As of yet, there have only been one or two that meet this criteria. Without references, any addition you make will be reversed - a waste of your time. So, roll up your sleeves and find good sources. - Jack Sebastian (talk) 03:51, 6 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Versace1608. I noticed that you recently removed content from New Edition without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. KCPQ[edit]

Hey there, wanted to address your comments on the By Fish quote.

It is on page 15 of the TV supplement to The Seattle Times (it was not known as "Daily" after 1966), dated January 6, 1974. You can email me for a copy of this particular article on request.

I will provide the paragraph from which it is adapted:

The one channel that comes in clearly is 13, KTVW. That used to be worse than no TV at all, so we pretended it wasn't there.
