September 2017[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Kim Fowley, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 09:26, 14 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Your User page is full of people angry at you for wrongly reverting stuff, and you never reply. You are just wasting everyone's time. Thanks to your simple mind, I have decided to correct less mistakes since I don't have the time to deal with people like you. Cheers.

That source on page 49 does not mention "rape" or "predator". Being fired for refusing sexual advances does not equate to the other person being a rapist or a sexual predator. Discuss this on talk:Kim Fowley indicate what you want to add to the article and get wp:consensus before adding. See help:talk pages and wp:talk page guidelines. Adding poorly-sourced content to a wp:Biography of living persons can result in a block and the article being protected. The guy may very well be a sexual predator and/or rapist, but it needs to have a source more than just a "he said, she said". Get a wp:reliable source which explicitly states such. Compiling sources and concluding such is wp:synthesis and wp:original research are not acceptable on Wikipedia. Jim1138 (talk) 20:14, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

January 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Hammersoft. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Watergate scandal, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Hammersoft (talk) 21:37, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

irrelevant forum talk[edit]

In future, please keep your stupid personal opinions to yourself when commenting on TP's - the only thing that matters is what the Reliable Sources say. Trying to forment a forum discussion is against our rules. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.111.24.147 (talk) 11:25, 29 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
