Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (193.240.174.244) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. June 2018[edit]

Hello, I'm Z0. I noticed that in this edit to Écréhous, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. The editor whose username is Z0 12:13, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
My edit summary said "Still no source?". That explains why I removed unsourced content. WP:V says "Any material that needs a source but does not have one may be removed". If you use automated tools which allow rapid reverts of vast numbers of edits, it might be helpful to act in line with wikipedia policy, or to read people's edit summaries. 193.240.174.244 (talk) 14:16, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Short Brothers. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jim1138 (talk) 09:37, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Broken Sword, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 13:18, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
