WARNING! This IP is being watched by the press and Correctional Service Canada![edit]

This news article lists this specific IP address as responsible for "homophobic" contributions that CSC says it may use to fire or punish employees. If you are not familiar with IP addresses, making IP edits is anything but "anonymous" - it is possible to track down the IP to a particular computer. The article suggests that anyone might have used this computer on a lunch break ... don't be the sap left holding the bag.

Normally this might be avoided by registering an account under any name; you can use TrashMail to verify email address if you want. But with your employer being stung by the press I wouldn't count on them not to monitor everything on that computer regardless of how you do it.

P.S. obviously some of these comments are not technically within Wikipedia policy, but I hope that Wikipedians will see that it is more important to not want to see fellow users punished by an external authority than to deal with some small and often self-reverted humorous comments.
