Just give it a shot, 225. Note the syntax of the following user name (click on "edit" to see it), which "pings" him to say that his name was mentioned: Blackmetalbaz, how you doing? - So, Xibalba is already "taken". Go there and scroll down; you'll see two bands in the obligatory "In popular culture" section (which should be totally overhauled)--one on the label you mentioned, and one from Pomona. - The Xibalba (band) I am familiar with is both from Pomona and affiliated with Southern Lord Records. So, I suppose I'm going to start this as a stub, try to find a complete discography with track listings (or as complete as I can find with proper citation) and write up a brief intro. - OK--first off, cleanup: go to Xibalba#In_popular_culture and click "edit"; then combine the two entries for your band into one. And add [[...]] around the label's name (full name "Southern Lord Records") to make the wikilink, if you like, if only to indicate to others that your currently redlinked band is on a notable label. - Right on. Now click your red link and start creating it...! Mind you, you'll need something reliable to add them to List of black metal bands, L–Z--something more reliable than metal-archives, which doesn't count here as a WP:RS ("reliable source"). Baz is the expert in this matter, and perhaps he'll chime in when he gets a chance. Don't worry about "stub" status and what not; if I were you, I'd just grab a metal band's article and start copying code. - You're obviously a fast learner! Yes, you need reliable sources. I think that Pitchfork Media is usually considered reliable: I'll add that as a source so you can see the coding and what you can do with such a reference. For instance, given the enormous amount of genre warring in metal (and elsewhere), usually that calls for a source. Drmies (talk) 20:04, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you, kindly! I tried my hand at citing sources on the "history" section, which is, as of now, merely tour information. Hopefully the websites I found are considered credible. They do include full tour dates. I did notice a bit of screwy numbering on the superscripts 225edits (talk) 20:53, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

I doubt that the three you added count as reliable, so more would be better. Look for album reviews, like the Pitchfork one I found. I'm still waiting on Baz to get off his behind and check in; they may have something to add. Hey, you wrote your first article. How'd you like it?
Next time, don't be so quick to copy from your sandbox; we'll do it properly (the article history needs to be preserved; it's part of our license, and by copying the text you basically cut my edits out of the history), and all you have to do is ping me or drop me a line. - Oh, no one will ever bother you for a source for a track listing. But do see WP:NBAND. With this band you're lucky that they have one album with a big enough label (item 5)--"big enough" as far as I know. They really need two such albums, or much more coverage (or a hit record or a Grammy, haha). So try and beef up the article with reviews etc. Drmies (talk) 23:26, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

You can individualize your user page all you want as long as you keep it moderately clear. Putting giant penises on it is somewhat frowned upon. What I stuck in (feel free to remove it) is also a framework for userboxes (the "userboxtop" and "userboxbottom" templates), and you can read more about userboxes here, Wikipedia:Userboxes.
