Removal of speedy deletion tags[edit]

A couple of the speedy deletion tags that you have recently removed seem to have been removed erroneously:

The Search (Tsavo album) was tagged for deletion under Wikipedia:CSD A9, which seems entirely reasonable because the band article was itself deleted following AfD. In this case I have WP:IAR and restored the tag; an admin can decide if that was warranted when they review the speedy nomination;
Wireless Theatre Company contained an AfD header and a speedy delete tag, placed by an editor who appears unsure of the procedures (there is, for example, no corresponding AfD discussion). You removed the speedy tag, aparrently because of the AfD header. I have done no further clean-up on this because it is not clear to me whether you would have removed the speedy tag if the AfD nomination had been properly completed.

Further to the above, I don't understand your rationale for removing the speedy tag (db-web) I placed on Yetisports, which is "not speedy, try PROD". Your edit summary should tell editors why you're removing the tag (for example, you might say "article asserts notability"). Before I re-tag it, please tell me where this article, that contains not one reference, asserts significance or notability. Thanks, Baffle gab1978 (talk) 02:06, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
