HI, having parents from Afg does not automatically means Haqparast has a citizenship unless he had applied and granted for it AND since this is Wikipedia we need independent, reliable source indicate that. This is similar to all the fighters in US who parents are born in Mexico which they are allowed to apply for Mexico citizenship but not automatically they are Mexican. In Wikipedia, the lead section (the intro) do not include their ethnicity but it can be stated in the body text with independent, reliable source which the in the background section it had already stated. Pls do not add back the info. Cassiopeia talk 01:34, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Natives of Afghanistan never lose their nationality or citizenship after obtaining nationality or citizenship of another country. As such, Nasrat Haqparast is also an Afghan national and citizen through his Afghan parents. Afghanistan recognizes him as one of its citizens. This is clearly mentioned in the cited news reports by Ariana News, Pajhwok Afghan News, TOLOnews, etc. See, e.g.,
In the United States, such person would be recognized as an Afghan American.--39.41.95.197 (talk) 01:42, 15 November 2023 (UTC
All the above is stated that he has the heritage of Afg and not citizenship. Until you can find independent, reliable source stated he has a citizenship of Afg then you are welcome to add the info in. Even so, you can state in the body text as in Wikpedia, since where he resides (Germany) is the place when he was notable in Wikipedia, Germany still will be the country we state he is a German fighter (he was also born and raised in Germany). I'm an expert on Afghan nationality law. This is what Nasrat Haqparast posted on his official Facebook page: "I said my nation Afghanistan 🇦🇫 is always in my heart !!" [1]--39.41.95.197 (talk) 02:01, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
First of all, the Wikipedia does not know who you are nor I so everything is verified by independent, reliable source which is the Wikipedia policy, so wheather you are a Afghan nationality law expert or not, that we can be known. Secondly, all social media is considered not independent (which in this case since the info is stated by the subject) or reliable. So social media can not be used. Many subject and including MMA fighter always claim they represent this country, that country or the whole world or claim their parrent heritage where or where they were born as their country, but only a citizenship is considered a citizen of that nation and again, since this is Wikipedia only independent, reliable source indicate the info can be used for verification. You're POV pushing and writing nonsense, and you've been blocked before for edit-warring. [2] If an Afghan national represents Afghanistan, we state in Wikipedia that he is an Afghan national representing Afghanistan. His place of birth or citizenship is not as important as the nation he represents because everybody knows that these days people easily immigrate to other countries and hold multiple nationalities. Why did you repeatedly remove all the Afghan taekwondo practitioners? [3] [4] If you click on their page you clearly see that they are Afghan nationals representing Afghanistan. Rohullah Nikpai, Bashir Taraki, Farzad Mansouri, Hussain Sadiqi, Mohsen Rezaee and Zakia Khudadadi. These Afghans were all born inside Afghanistan and represented Afghanistan. They later taking refuge in another country has nothing to do with what they achieved in the sports world.--39.41.95.197 (talk) 04:12, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

The block was abuse of discretion. It was arbitrary, irrational and contrary to Wikipedia guidelines. Everyone can see that I simply cleaned up Sport in Afghanistan, which was very messy and omitting important sourced information about the many Afghan sports competitors. I didn't do any disruptive editing at all. The new content I added is backed up by reliable sources, which I properly cited. I added only few of them because adding many would be excessive and not allowed. I reverted an obvious POV pusher and edit-warrior, and without violating the 3 revert rule.39.41.95.197 (talk) 03:55, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You were edit warring, and were blocked. There is nothing wrong with this block. If you write another unblock request, I strongly suggest you admit that you were edit warring. PhilKnight (talk) 04:44, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
