Hi, I'm here to talk about your recent edit to the Elks page

Saying things like "Considered by some" goes against our MOS:WEASEL. Please in future if needed bring up sources to show if something is debated, use specific examples rather than adding generalizations.

We have the sources there to say it is. If a term is offensive, it's not up for debate if it is or not. We have multiple sources linked to that sentence specifically to show that it's not debated.

It is fact.

If you have reliable source WP:RS that say it is not, then you are free to add them. But please remember that even if only a portion of people are offended by something, that still means it is offensive. Adding "Some find," as said previously, goes against MOS:WEASEL.
