Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 69.46.99.196). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. --AW 18:25, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

March 2007[edit]

Hi, the recent edit you made to Rock and roll has been reverted, as it appears to constitute spam or self-promotion. Wikipedia is not a directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising. See the policy on external links for details; you may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks – Qxz 15:55, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated spamming[edit]

All of your edits are spam.

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Shortwave, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from any site that uses the MediaWiki spam blacklist, which includes all of Wikimedia and Wikipedia. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Shortwave bands. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. February 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Saeed Anwar has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. vvvt 20:53, 26 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

December 2015[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Zdeno Chára. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Echoedmyron (talk) 16:45, 14 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
