Huguenot background[edit]
This article seems to imply that having a Huguenot background implies a Jewish background. Huguenots were French Protestants, not Jews. They were expelled from France during a period of anti-Protestant persecution by the Catholic government. Please correct this mistake. Also, being adopted by a Jewish parent would not mean someone was a Jew according to German law. The Nazis viewed being Jewish as a racial matter. This sort of glaring mistake is why Wikipedia is good for references to authoritative sources, but not as an authoritative source on its own.
