I don't believe Crowther is dead. The linked obituary is for someone named John Preston Wilcox, who was, according to the article for Crowther's ex-wife Patricia Crowther, her subsequent husband after divorcing Crowther. A quick Google for "william crowther death" doesn't turn up anything relevant, so I believe he is still alive. 73.222.100.114 (talk) 06:29, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the 2012 photo uploaded by Nancy Crowther clearly conflicts with a 2010 death date. I also don't see any source for the 1937 birth date aside from the obituary for the wrong person, a few other websites agree with the previous 1936 year of birth. A genealogy website (https://en.geneastar.org/genealogy/crowtherw/will-crowther) specifically claims his date of birth as June 20, 1936.
