Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Wanstead. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Kbthompson (talk) 15:14, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
- No-one has any objection to mention of the Wanstead Society in context - but your prose must be encyclopaedic - ie discuss the organisation and place dispassionately. Alterations to the article should neither be used to plug the association; nor the punt the place in a 'chatty fashion'. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia and not a blog. Please do take the time to read some of the guidelines on contributing. Thank you. Kbthompson (talk) 15:14, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
