Carson[edit]

You need to learn what third-party independent sourcing is. Websites of those she has spoken for are not. News coverage of the engagements, for example, would be appropriate sourcing. Also, you have a conflict of interest; therefore, you should not be editing the article at all. — JJMC89(T·C) 15:11, 20 February 2018 (UTC) I am not the one who put the page up but I check it all the time because people will put the wrong info in or change things just as you have done. I don't agree with you that an organization's website would not be proof that she spoke at that event but I will accept and look for the news coverage. I am just trying to keep the article accurate and not be the editor.[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, 98.164.128.75. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Alyssa Carson, you may have a conflict of interest (COI).   • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. — JJMC89(T·C) 04:36, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
