March 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Aaron Michael Lacey. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 01:37, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Aaron Michael Lacey, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aaron Michael Lacey (2nd nomination), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Do not continue closed discussions[edit]

I reverted those edits because the discussion had long since closed before you added them. Re: production certificates, you understand incorrectly. The certificates were from the station, not from NATAS, so they would be much less notable than an Emmy. According to the Chapter Administrator, Mr. Lacey has not been honored in any way by NATAS. By all indications, the claim was a false one, and not appreciated. It appears by the name you gave Philippe on his talk page and the edit history of the article, that you are in fact related to Mr. Lacey. If that is the case, it is strongly encouraged that you do not try to recreate this article. See WP:COI for more details. DarkAudit (talk) 20:53, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
