Thanks for your help with Articles for creation. Could I just ask you read the reviewing instructions in detail before you review any more? Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 22:15, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your RfA[edit]

I am sorry, but I have closed your Request for adminship prematurely. Simply put, you only have 29 edits on Wikipedia; while your edit count isn't the only determining factor, and numerous people have their own personal standards by which they judge RfA candidates, this particular RfA was all but assured of not passing.

I am sorry about this, and I hope you don't take it personally. If you continue to contribute to the project in a positive fashion, I am confident that you would be able to submit a successful RfA in the future. You may wish to consider applying for an evaluation by other Wikipedia editors for feedback on how to obtain the necessary experience. Once you are ready to request adminship again, there is a great admin coaching program available, as well as a guide to requests for adminship.

If you have any other questions about becoming an administrator, please don't hesitate to ask me. Good luck! iMatthew talk at 16:13, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I understand. AgentB1 (talk) 21:58, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there, you may have noticed I reverted some of your edits to a few submissions to AfC. I really appreciate you helping out, but could you please read the instructions carefully, as well as some of the relevant policies such as reliable sources and notability, before reviewing more of them? Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/GENIVI Alliance is on hold since there is only one reliable source - feel free to find more and add them if you think it deserves to be an article. And if you decline a submission, please don't remove the parameters at the end - you're supposed to just put in "D" and "v" - the "additional parameters" part just refers to the numbers at the end of the template section. You might like to start working on improving current articles before working on creation. Thanks so much, please let me know if you have any questions. ~ Amory (usertalkcontribs) 23:50, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey[edit]

Hey. Welcome to Wikipedia. :) I've seen you around AfC, and I'm really glad you want to help out. AfC can be a bit neglected, so any help we can get is great. Plus, for being so new, I'm glad you found a place that suits you. If you're interested, we have an IRC channel (#wikipedia-en-help connect) on freenode, so if you ever need help on AfC stuff (or anything; we don't bite) we'd love to help. Plus, if you just want a good banter, I think most of us are usually up for that. If don't have access to IRC, you can always contact me on my talk page if you want help. Earwig and GrooveDog are always safe bets if you want a nice, helpful response to any question you may have. Good luck in the future, and I hope to see you enjoy our humble community. Happy editing!
