Problematic edit[edit]

This edit is problematic for several reasons:

There is no justification for capitalising the word "born". This isn't a new sentence, it is a parenthetical in the middle of an existing sentence. Don't make grammatical changes like this unless you are familiar enough with English to do so confidently.
Changing "was ranked first" to "in the top spot" introduces improper tone into the article.
Changing "Times of India's Most Desirable Men on TV List" to "the top spot in The Times Most Desirable Men on TV" introduces confusion, because it's unclear what "The Times" is. Is it Times of India or not? If we don't know what The Times is, the content should be deleted, since we're not interested in every award organisation in the world. We only care about established, notable awards. Based on This reference it seems to be a list compiled by Times of India, so it's again unclear why you chose to remove the clarification. You also introduced incorrect English grammar, and "the top spot" doesn't quite have the professional tone of "ranked first". You also removed the indication that this was a list of some kind.
Changing "He was also ranked 26th in The 50 Most Desirable Men List" to "He also grabbed the 26th spot among the list of The Times 50 Most Desirable Men" introduces improper encyclopedic tone and slang into the article. He didn't "grab" anything. That's a metaphor. Some periodical ranked him. That is literal.
[[Ace Of Space 2|''Ace of Space 2'']] is not the correct way to format this link. It should have been ''[[Ace Of Space 2]]''. We also don't use blogs as references. See WP:UGC.
Lastly, this was not a minor edit and should not have been marked as such. Minor errors are cosmetic changes that could not be the subject of a dispute. Typographical fixes, adding punctuation, reverting clear vandalism, etc. Please do not mark non-minor edits as minor.

When you made this edit, did you even read the reference you included? That article or press release or whatever it is, is entirely speculative. It even asks "But is this true?" Special appearances[edit]

With regard to this restoration of content, the anonymous IP editor who removed it is probably objecting to it being in there on the basis that a filmography is supposed to list works where the person employed their acting skills. Token appearances on TV shows don't really qualify and just tend to look like fan cruft. Wikipedia does not endeavor to replace IMDB, and it is not an indiscriminate collection of information. For the reasons explained by the IP editor, and, I now see, Cyphoidbomb also explained above: "a filmography is supposed to list works where the person employed their acting skills. Anyway, my talk page or your talk page aren't the place to discuss content - you should do that on the article talk page where other editors can offer opinions too.

The fact that you can find other articles which you think contain content they shouldn't is a reason for removing that content from those articles, not for adding it to this one.

Don't restore it to the article again now that you know other editors disagree, unless you can get consensus on the article talk page. That would be disruptive editing and edit-warring and could easily get you blocked from editing.

The picture was removed by someone who thought it was a copyright violation, and, I confess, it does look a bit "fishy" - but Commons had a deletion discussion and decided it was ok - so I've replaced it for you. -- Begoon 05:09, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Pearl V Puri; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Then, if you continue edit warring, you will just end up blocked - which would be a shame. Read and understand the messages above, start a proper discussion and stop edit warring, please. Regarding remove of special appearance section[edit]

See in other celebrities pages not obe but Even many pages says surbhi jyoti, mouni roy arjun bijlani etc there is a soecial apoearnce section or the shows which they attain as a guest are there, but that began fellow removed that section from pearlvpuri page, but i added this things with proper citations... And that fellow gave complain against me... Wait pleasr review it and check it before doing this.... I also know to block and complain any user, but i will not do... Channels/networks in filmographies[edit]

Please don't arbitrarily add channels/networks in filmographies as you did here. There's no need for it, there is no value for it. There is also no provision for it at WP:FILMOGRAPHY.
