Nomination of Liz in September for deletion[edit]

- Hiya! I've added sources to the article and the film should be safe from deletion. The main thing to remember with making film articles is that you need to have 3-4 sources that are independent of the movie itself that can establish notability. The film screened at various places, but film screenings by themselves don't give notability on Wikipedia. This can make it more likely that there will be sources, especially if the festivals are notable, but the films don't automatically inherit notability from the festivals except in very rare circumstances like screening at Cannes, and even that's usually up for debate depending on the editor.
- On a side note, try to avoid using places like IMDb as a source in articles. The reason for this is that pretty much anyone can edit IMDb and add information. In most cases the information is correct, but there have been more than a few instances of people deliberately inserting false information into IMDb for their own purposes (furthering their career, perpetuating hoaxes, etc). You can read about one case here, although I'd recommend that you start with my overview of the case since it simplifies a lot of things. Ultimately someone had pulled a con, saying that various media existed (films, TV shows) and had an IMDb page to back things up, yet it was eventually proven to be false. The whole scenario is an interesting read, if you have the free time. Otherwise it's not really important except to show that IMDb shouldn't be used as a RS.
