Welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad you want to get involved, but I'm afraid there's a problem with the article you created, User:Alomar29. It appears to be an advertisement. It's a common mistake for new users to make, but Wikipedia isn't a forum for advertising, and there's no real way to advertise your business, organization, or web site on Wikipedia, no matter how worthy it might be, because under the conflict of interest guidelines, we all agree not to write about ourselves or our own businesses. Don't worry- if your endeavor really is notable, then it's inevitable that someone without a conflict of interest will read about it in reliable sources and become interested enough to create an article about it. I've deleted the advertisement for you, and if you're interested in sticking around to help us write an encyclopedia, you're entirely welcome- check out our help page for some good advice about how to contribute usefully to the encyclopedia. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 21:37, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to User:Alomar29. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 21:45, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to User:Alomar29, you will be blocked from editing. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:08, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Besides[edit]

Advertising on Wikipedia doesn't make you look professional. It makes you look pathetic. I'd never do business with an agent who can't even afford her own web site, and an agent who'd act unethically by trying to advertise on Wikipedia isn't someone I would trust to help me with my real estate needs, either. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:10, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
