October 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Roy Makaay, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Jaellee (talk) 10:04, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:54, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

March 2015[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to Magic Johnson ‎, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 06:11, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Player heights[edit]

The height listed for NBA players in the infobox is typically what they are listed as by teams during their career. As explained at Height_in_sports#Basketball, there is no standard by the league on whether the height is with or without shoes. The player's team determines the final measurement that gets listed. Wikipedia has typically used this "listed height". Any discrepancies with the "actual" height can be footnoted or explained in prose, if supported by a reliable source. If you don't agree with this convention, feel free to discuss at WP:NBA to form a new consensus. Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 06:25, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
