Hi AlumCreek: I'm sorry no one has yet welcomed you and given you some links to our policies and guidelines. Unfortunately, Alexandria's Genesis has been created and deleted multiple times, and Drmies may not have realized you didn't know this. For something to have a page on Wikipedia, it must be notable, which basically means that multiple independent reliable sources have written about it (for example, it's been the subject of some newspaper articles that are not just press releases, and/or magazine articles or broadcast/cable TV programs). Here's a nutshell statement of the requirements, with links to fuller explanations. This can be a hard standard to reach for internet phenomena, because popularly generated media like blogs - which includes the Tumblr you cited - don't count. And it's based on a fanfic, which is in itself popularly generated media. You would have to find 2 or 3 extended treatments in traditional media (media where there is editorial control; that could include an official blog on the site of a newspaper, or a web newspaper such as Salon, but not a webcast or forum), talking about the disease phenomenon. If you can find 2 or 3 such sources, list them to Drmies and he'll probably undelete it. But otherwise, I'm afraid we can't have an article on it. Yngvadottir (talk) 14:15, 6 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
