Punctuation

Standard English punctuation rules are that a long quotation has quotation marks at the beginning of each paragraph, but not at the end until the final paragraph. For example:

Please remember to use the edit summary

When you edited the Ge page to remove Phosphonofluoridic acid, I had to search to figure out why. (It turns out that you had done the exactly right thing, by the way, since the NATO code for that is GB and therefore a previous editor had added incorrect data, thank you.) But if you had noted in the edit summary why you were removing the entry, I would have saved time doing the research that you had obviously already done. Thank you! Use of the word vandalism

Using the word vandalism in any situation other than cases of obvious vandalism is generally frowned upon; so much so that many editors see it as a personal attack. If you don't find sources that state only Post-Hardcore as Alesana's genre (see the talkpage) I'm going to add Emocore and Screamo.I said I wouldn't add them but now I think I should.Wikipedia works with sources and the sources - reliable or not, always include Emo/Screamo.I haven't found any source to include only Post Hardcore as their genre.If you find something I won't change the section.Xr 1 18:13, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Acop.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Acop.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link.
