Hello editors! If you believe I made a mistake or do not understand an edit, please leave a respectful message on my talk page. --ArihantB (talk) 11:13, 12 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I would request anyone correcting/having obejctions/complaints on my edited contents to please be kind to leave a notice of few days or some hours at least before proceeding in editing the contents or in extreme cases removing them altogether. It supports the healthly discussion spirit of Wikipedia. In most contested topics please try to use neutral words to avoid portraying the contents one-sided/biased to one particular school of thought. Sanskrit spellings[edit]

Please don't change "Rama" to "Ram", "Lakshmana" to "Lakshman", "Kanda" to "Kand" etc. "Rāma" is the correct pronunciation in Sanskrit language, the language of ancient epics. "Ram" is a corruption in modern languages like Hindi. See Schwa deletion in Indo-Aryan languages. 149.248.171.33 (talk) 02:20, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ARBIPA sanctions alert[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Could you care to explain why sanctions have been imposed on me while I am open to discuss the edit in question ? registeredEditor ArihantB 20:39, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sanctions are not being applied to you. You are being alerted that sanctions are applicable.
If you continue citing policies such as 'neutral point of view' without actually bothering to find out what they are, you will get into trouble. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 21:07, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
