Information icon Hello, I'm Gadfium. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Foxton, New Zealand have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.-gadfium 04:48, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Gadfium. I am completely new to this. And learning. Trying to respond to you here. Hope it works.

If you don't mind, I will try and restore the changes that I made. Esp the photos. They are mine. They are real.

I will also remove what could be perceived as "soapbox or means of promotion|soapbox". Will try and stay neutral.

Please don't undo loads of my work in one go...? SO that I have to start all the way from scratch again. I am happy to comply with any rules - once I know the rules. But right now... As I am completely new to this - this is all extremely time-consuming.

Let's try and help each other? I am not malicious. Or commercial. Just trying to update a hugely outdated page, that is incorrect and far too boring in many places. Foxton is changing fast. If my enthusiasm or passion gets away on me, just let me know? Thanks Arjanvanderboon (talk) 02:52, 19 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Copying licensed material requires attribution[edit]

Hi. I see in a recent addition to Wellington Region you included material from a webpage that is available under a compatible Creative Commons Licence. That's okay, but you have to give attribution so that our readers are made aware that you copied the prose rather than wrote it yourself. I've added the attribution for this particular instance. Please make sure that you follow this licensing requirement when copying from compatibly-licensed material in the future. — Diannaa (talk) 14:56, 10 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit reversion[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.S Philbrick(Talk) 12:21, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
