Your Edits[edit]

Hey

I don't mean to be rude, but your edits need to be seriously repaired and made "wiki" friendly. Practice in the sandbox, then post to the article. As it is now, there are quite a few rules and guideline violations. Please don't take the deletions personally, and feel free to ask questions or ask for help. Again, I don't want to come across as a grinch, but the edits need to be reworked. Jacksinterweb (talk) 15:54, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I will be glad to help you make edits. Major edits though may require consensus with other editors of the article, so bear that in mind. In the mean time, create a "sandbox" to tighten up your piece. I have taken the liberty of starting a work page for you (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Arliecrabtree/12xmas)
Cut and paste your draft onto here, only you can see it now, then tinker with the language to get it NPOV, and sourced. NPOV means avoiding advocating, or even doing so passively. Sources should come from third party, reliable sources (books, magazines, newspapers, broadcasters...but not from blogs or web sites selling goods or services). Think about weaving part of your additions into body of what is there now. In otherwords, if Russian tradition is same as XYZ tradition then there is no need for double explanation. If you want me to offer suggestions, and proof what you come up with, drop me a line, and I will pop into your workpage and lend a hand. I am working today, but can steal a few minutes here and there to pitch in, if you wish. Jacksinterweb (talk) 17:50, 24 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
