BBC Breakfast

I just wanted to explain the reasons I undid your edits last night. The main point was to keep the presenters table on the BBC Breakfast article in the same style as other BBC News tables. I would refer you to articles such as the BBC News at Six, GMT and PM to see how this style is used across a variety of articles. If you order presenters by year you end up sometimes with the anomaly occasional relief presenters being listed above the main presenter. Personally, I think that is not the most user-friendly way we can display information.

The established order used in these tables is:
1) Main presenter(s)
2) Deputy presenter (s)
3) Regular reliefs
4) Occasional reliefs

Not all of these categories apply to every article. Usually presenters within each section are ranked by frequency of their appearances. This may be alphabetical in some articles though.

In the BBC Breakfast table, it seems strange to place Kate Silverton above Charlie Stayt and Louise Minchin as she currently is only an occasional presenter (who hasn't actually presented from Salford yet). I don't think that puts across acurately the personalities you are likely to see on screen.

We have had quite a few problems with the presenters table in the BBC Breakfast article since the move to Salford with all the changes. The set-up of the table was the one agreed between the editors who had been making the initial changes. I will change the order of the table back to the format it was in before (fixing any small errors I can see) tomorrow, if I have not heard back from you. Please feel free to leave me a message if there is anything I have said which you fundamentally disagree with. For me, the most important thing is to keep the aricle in line with as many BBC News programmes as we can.

I have also placed this message on the BBC Breakfast talk page in case any other editors have any additional comments to make.

America's Got Talent

Hello, On Wikipedia, lists go in chronological order (unless it's alphabetical), and that includes in the infobox. I did not notice that it was not correct. Thanks for pointing that out. I have corrected that as well.

Also, in the U.S., it's 'host' not 'presenter' -- and more importantly, that's how he's announced on the show. And please keep in mind that when you revert all that includes other editing done as well. Thank you. --Musdan77 (talk) 17:52, 23 May 2012 (UTC)

Don't appreciate alterations to the infobox of which have not been discussed. If you actually look, present judges are always listed first then it goes in order of inactive judges in chronological order. NPOV

You seem to misunderstand or not understand NPOV - all of the statements in the lede of the Habbo article are simply factual representations of what RSs have said about the matter and have been covered by multiple RS. If you think any of the statements are not factual NPOV representations of what has been reported - which *specific* statement is problematical? The matter has been reported widely in the Guardian, on the BBC, in the Times, the independent. If we are adding in our own interpretation of what they had said then that would not represent NPOV and in actual fact your claims that Channel 4 is 'bias' is actually a NPOV because unless you can show otherwise, we consider Channel 4 to be an RS. --Cameron Scott (talk) 16:25, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

What are you on about? The lead is for information about Habbo, the company, the site or whatever, not about what Channel 4 has found out during its investigation. it is bias and does not emphasise neutrality at all. It's a report that shows Habbo in an entirely negative light, irrespective of the fact that the news report was meant to do that. If this was such a big issue, we would have kept the 'Controversies' section we used to have but now don't and if you read down the edits, you'll see why.Arsenalfan24 (talk) 16:29, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

Yes, ok I accept that. If it's too be included then, like the articles you've provided above, it should have a properly constructed sentence with a clear factual-base; use of the word 'allegation' suggests that it's just a claim and nothing more. I personally think it could be something like the following, but whatever you decide to do really. I do apologise for coming across as hostile though. My example would be the following: In June 2012, a two-month investigation by Channel Four News uncovered lapses in Habbo's online moderation, which subsequently led to the closure of Habbo Gift Cards by three major UK retailers, as well as stake withdrawals from two of the company's biggest investors.Arsenalfan24 (talk) 17:37, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, didn't mean that to be patronising, it was just that you'd written "Scotland Yard confirmed that a 24-year-old (Tulisa) and a 35-year-old (Mike GLC) had been arrested" when the only statement from Scotland Yard in the provided source was that they had "arrested two people, a 35-year-old man (A) and a 24-year-old woman (B)", without naming them (in fact, Scotland Yard still haven't confirmed the names, so far as I can see). Hi. No need at all to apologise! And thank you for your work. Simply, as long we have no information about the Cabinet, it's certainly best to wait. Particularly since it's hard to imagine Telavi's Cabinet serving under the man who was Leader of the Opposition, all the more so given the acrimonious circumstances. Re the Telavi ministry page: Definitely! Such an article would be justified even were it not for the circumstances of the government's removal. So in view of its role in an unprecedented constitutional crisis, it's unquestionably a good idea. Maybe simply indicate that Tanukale's resignation was what enabled Latasi to attempt to prevent the no confidence motion? (I've seen an AAP article in The Australian which is very confused and gives incorrect information on that issue; once more, we in Wikipedia are more accurate that some of the press! ;)) I've seen you've also done an article on the crisis itself. Victoria Borwick

Just to let you know that not all members of the London Assembly are London-wide. There are fourteen elected by single-member constituencies and eleven who are termed 'London Members', elected from a party list. Commonwealth Secretary General in PM infoboxes

Hello, I've just reverted your addition of the names of Commonwealth secretary generals in a few prime ministerial infoboxes. Given that PMs do not report to public servants, this does not seem appropriate. More generally, I question why the largely ceremonial role of head of the Commonwealth is worth including anyway - it doesn't receive much attention by the media or political scientists.
