The Sum of Human Knowledge[edit]

If the height of the Empire State Building is equivalent to the history of the Earth, the presence of homo sapiens would only be a postage stamp at the very top.

Welcome[edit]

Welcome II[edit]

And welcome from me, too, Mr. Gray. I appears that you are interested in sleep and disorders thereof, and so am I. We'll probably be running into one another. - Hordaland (talk) 19:09, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

April 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did with this edit, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Literaturegeek | T@1k? 20:10, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It was a simple welcome message I gave you. A standard welcome which I give to all newly registered accounts with a click of a button. How on earth you took it as a personal attack and decided to edit it to make me look stupid I don't know but oh well. Considering you have only made a small number of edits a welcome template with some helpful links is only rational.--Literaturegeek | T@1k? 20:15, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Literaturegeek. I'm truly sorry about the edits. I did not take it as an attack, and thought it was an automatically-generated message. I will be sure to review the standards and be careful with future edits. Please accept my apologies.

That is fine, I accept your appology and understand that it was a mixup. I actually usually only send welcome messages to users who make constructive edits to entice them to stay and develop articles. When editing talk pages you will see this icon in the editor panel. If you click on it it produces 4 lines which wikipedia converts into your signature.--Literaturegeek | T@1k? 20:29, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'll check that out. I'm looking forward to making more contributions here.
