Revealing personal information[edit]

Hi. I'm Barkeep49, an editor and oversighter. I have recently had to oversight a recent comment of yours. I know my colleague Primefac left you a message about revealing personal information yesterday. Let me re-inforce that message and note that revealing personal information of certain kinds anywhere onwiki can be an issue. For those reasons I have also deleted a userbox from your "old userpage". If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me here or by sending me an email. Barkeep49 (talk) 22:05, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone that knows to put in an HTML comment about content changes shows me the signs of someone who could be a good Wikipedian. But you simply cannot disclose your personal information like you have been doing. If it happens again, you may end up being blocked. I don't want that to happen - as I said I think you could be a good Wikipedian. But I also want to be clear on the consequences if this does not stop. Okay. I understand how you would not want me to be blocked, after all I know how to put HTML comments in.User:Atomic Sphere/What are you doing editing this AtomicSphere 19:02, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  --Blablubbs (talk) 20:03, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I am here to build an encyclopedia though. AtomicSphere 22:32, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I may have edited none before, but I promise I will do more copyediting. You don't have to unblock me right away, I got a block because I wasn't here to build an encyclopedia, but then I realized it was bad, but alas, I was too late. I am truly sorry for not being here, I will never do it again, unless of course there is an emergency and I can't edit (bedtime counts as an emergency in this case), then I will just straight out not contribute instead of only contributing to my userpage. I know this is probably too long, but I'm trying my best to make a good appeal. Signed, AtomicSphere 22:53, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Since talk page access has been revoked there is no need to keep this request open. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:32, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
