Feedback on your article[edit]
@Avaw13: It looks like you're off to a good start and you've written some new text but it seems that you still have a bunch of work to do here. I noticed the following issues:
- There are no references. Indeed, there is a tag on the article listed that as an issue before you got there.
- There are two URLS inside <ref> tags but they are not integrated as Wikipedia references inline. If you want to add those back (and the second one is important because it establishes notability) those are:
- Your edits have removed all wiki links from the text. That seems like a mistake.
- Your text has a bunch of things like "(source)". I think you mean to include the source here.
- Your text has pretty extensive long quoting. Wikipedia typically prefers to write new text and to minimize quotes.
- The appear to some issue of tone. Your articles really should be written in a boring and dry encyclopedia tone. Most importantly, you want to edit it so that it doesn't read like it's written by the festival itself!
Let me or altsalt when you've finished a full pass of the article and we can take a look at it again. Please don't move it over until you've addressed these issues and built something a bit more polished. I look forward to seeing what you've come up with! —mako๛ 04:24, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
- @Avaw13: Thank you for all your work on this! I did an edit pass on it myself (mostly for tone, but I couldn't resist adding a couple references myself) and I think it looks pretty great now! You should take a look at this list of suggestions for polishing your article which is a helpful set of ideas from altsalt. Many won't apply but some might. Do a final pass and try to address any of the things on the list on our website that you think are useful and would improve things. Then go ahead and make it live. Finalizing Article + New Image (before making article live)[edit]

I just went through the tutorial/steps to using wikimedia commons to upload a licensed image, and I think I did it correctly, but just wanted to get your approval before I make my article go live! Please let me know if I did this correctly.
