Hi, just a couple of things I wanted to mention. We're not actually supposed to add Category:Lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender people to articles that are already filed in a subcategory such as Category:Gay actors; Wikipedia has a rule against duplicate categorization (i.e. simultaneously filing an article in both a category and a subcategory of the first category). Alternatively, though, what we're doing now is creating a separate "LGBT people from (country)" tree which doesn't conflict with the occupational categories, so if you edit any more articles on gay actors, please feel free to use one of those categories instead. Thanks. Bearcat 19:18, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
